Ruth Rollason

Ruth Rollason was brought up in Ramsgate and, after achieving a Bachelor of Art (Hons) in Information Design at Leicester Polytechnic, she spent nearly 30 years in London as a graphic designer. Moving back to Ramsgate in 2008, she continued to run her own design business.
In 2015 she applied and was accepted on a Master in Fine Art course at UCA Canterbury. She received a Distinction for her work. Ruth has since had several solo and collaborative exhibitions and engaged in public art events including the Ramsgate Festival of Sound, Littoral Light and the Whitstable Biennale.
Her work has been exhibited at various galleries including Linden Hall Studio, Deal; The Beaney, Canterbury; Turner Contemporary, Margate, and The Historic Dockyard, Chatham. Her work has been published in the USA, and included in book and art collections in Europe. She continues her practice in Ramsgate.
